10 days

This picture was taken a year ago when I found out I would be going to the Dominican Republic to teach children English. So much has changed, but not my excitement for this opportunity. I will be flying out in 10 days which feels unreal to me. This will be my first trip alone to a foreign country. I know there will be a learning curve, and I am thrilled to have a chance to make a difference.
